Module 1: Tile types, tools and the setter's job

Compare ceramic, porcelain, natural stone and large-format tile, and learn the tools of the trade: trowels, levels, cutters, wet saws and mixers, with jobsite safety for silica dust and cutting.

Module 2: Substrates, backer board and flatness

Tile is only as good as what it sits on.

Module 3: Waterproofing and shower construction

Wet areas need continuous waterproofing.

Module 4: Layout, mortar and setting

Layout decides how the job looks.

Module 5: Grout, sealing and finishing

Finish the job well.

Module 6: VR and mixed reality: preview, simulate, assemble and verify
